Colorants/Pigments: Iron oxides and titanium dioxide are two chemicals that are used to give color to cosmetics and improve its visual attractiveness. UV Filters: Chemicals such as avobenzone and zinc oxide are used in sunscreens and other protective goods to absorb or reflect UV radiation, protecting the skin from sun damage.
